This full day tour takes you to three reef sites either in Opal Reef or Agincourt Reef where you can snorkel and dive to appreciate a beautiful variety of marine life.

Opal Reef and Agincourt Reef are a spectacular spot within the Great Barrier Marine Park, which is home to sharks, stingrays, cods, Maori wrasse, parrotfish and turtles.

Join the guided snorkel tour to spot these species or dive and venture deeper into the sea. Participate in a reef presentation to learn more about the vibrant ecosystem.

Take a break from your reef safari to enjoy tea, coffee and an energising lunch. Head off to explore the reef again until it's time to head back to Port Douglas in the late afternoon.

“ Was really impressed with the reef, however, the boat was crowded with limited seating, staff appeared more interested more in those who scuba dive, and not so much snorkellers. I was dissappointed with the meal and the limited morning and afternoon tea as selection was grim. Would have liked to learn more about types of fish and maybe trivia. The travelling was cold and wet. ”

Itinerary

The below itinerary can change due to tides and weather.

Day 1

Port Douglas Accommodation

7:00am – 8:15am

Transfers from your accommodation.

Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina

8:15am – 8:45am

Boarding commences.

Scuba Dive

8:45am – 10:15am

Vessels depart the Crystalbrook Marina. Travel to Opal Reef/Agincourt Reef.

Outer Barrier Reef

10:15am – 11:45am

First site – Divers are briefed, enter water while snorkellers enjoy an informative talk on how to snorkel safely. Morning tea is served before moving to our second reef site.

Snorkelling

12:00pm – 1:45pm

Second Site – We travel to our second breathtaking site (for diving and snorkelling) where a guided snorkelling tour is available before a tropical buffet lunch is served. After all that scrumptious food you can partake in a reef interpretive chat by one of our friendly crew.

Great Barrier Reef

1:45pm – 2:45pm

Third Site – A short trip to our final site for another snorkelling and diving opportunity before enjoying afternoon tea.

Outer Barrier Reef

2:45pm – 4:15am

Vessels depart outer Great Barrier Reef

Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina

4:15pm – 4:30pm

Cruise home returning at approximately 4:30pm.

Port Douglas Accommodation

4:30pm – 6:00pm
