​​The tour begins with a day spent at your leisure to explore the vibrant and tropical city of Cairns. Take a stroll along The Esplanade or simply relax by the beach or in one of the many cafés.  The Pier Marketplace overlooking Trinity Bay offers a local shopping experience, home to a number of shops, bars and waterfront restaurants that create an exciting atmosphere. Come night fall check out the night markets, a unique entertainment and shopping experience home to over 70 different stalls.  On day two you will enjoy a day to remember on an experience of a lifetime! Board a high-speed, spacious catamaran and cruise to the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef.  Covering approximately 35 million hectares, it is the largest reef structure and marine park in the world and offers an experience like no other.  Enjoy a reef education presentation by a marine naturalist and view the spectacular coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and semi-submersible craft. You have the opportunity to go snorkelling and experience this natural living wonder up-close (equipment provided).  The Great Barrier Reef is home to more different species of animals and plants in a cubic metre than in any other environment in the world.  On day three continue your adventure with an rainforest experience. Visit the fascinating Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultura lPark, Australia’s largest indigenous cultural park which has been built in a spectacular rainforest setting.  Discover this ancient culture through bush food lessons, didgeridoo demonstrations, movie theatres, fire making demonstrations and the famous Tjapukai Dance.  A short distance from Tjapukai is the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. This will take you directly above the breathtaking canopy of the Barron Gorge National Park.  En route to Kuranda, there are 2 stations where you can enjoy a walk through the rainforest and observe its beauty from spectacular lookouts.  On arrival there is free time to explore the ‘village in the rainforest’ and its many attractions, including the Heritage Markets. After exploring, board the Kuranda train for a historic journey travelling through some of the oldest rainforest in the world.  Passing the spectacular Stoney Creek Falls your journey winds through man-made tunnels, across bridges and around curves to arrive at its final destination, Freshwater Station. The trip concludes on the last day with a transfer to Cairns Airport, for your onward flight, perhaps to your next adventure!

On arrival at Cairns Airport you will be transferred to your hotel (flights anytime).

AFter being trasferred to your accommodation, the rest of the day at your leisure to discover the city of Cairns.

Day 2

Board a high-speed, spacious catamaran and cruise to the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef.
