In the morning you will cruise to Green Island on the ‘Reef Rocket’ a modern air-conditioned 78ft catamaran. Green Island is the only coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef to feature a rain forest which makes it very unique. It’s almost impossible to be disappointed with its white sandy beach and abundance of coral and marine life. If you’re looking for something a little different you also have the choice of taking a self guided walk along one of the many tracks leading through the National Park. Hire of canoes, beach umbrellas, sun lounges, surf skis, beach volleyball gear, stand-up paddle boards, wet-suits and flotation aids can be arranged on the island.
In the afternoon you will board the M.V. Crocodile Explorer for a tour through the Trinity Inlet. The waterways of the Trinity Inlet wind through 300 square kilometres of spectacular scenery, mangroves and a diverse range of wildlife. Your skipper will provide informative commentary of the surrounds and if you are lucky you might even see an saltwater crocodile or two!
