54321 Wonderful! We only visited for the day, and despite heavy rain in Bundaberg we still got to the island where the skies cleared and we were able to snorkel in the lagoon with several turtles surrounding us at one point. The staff were all super friendly and we had a brilliant day. We hope to return for a longer stay…

54321 Great flight out to the island, such a lovely place, with all the birds and marine life. After our boat trip and snorkelling, we went in the shallows, with the tide being out there were turtles grazing really closeup and weren’t fazed by our presence. A fantastic trip which I highly recommend. Thank you

54321 I went with 4 other people and we enjoyed everything about the tour we were especially excited to swim with two friendly sea turtles in the lagoon. The day was spectacular from the flight, which was smooth, the staff who were very professional and friendly, and the fresh food at lunch.

54321 Our family had a wonderful time on the reef. Started off in the morning seeing a huge humpback whale which I had never seen that close before. After that we went snorkeling and saw the reef up close and saw many fish. We saw a few sea turtles on the flat bottom boat. Big lunch was great, then back in the water to snorkel. The second time we saw more reef and fish. My 9 year old daughter got an awesome picture of a sea turtle under the water with her camera. On our way back to shore at the end of the day she swam over a reef shark! I thought that was amazing, she did too after the fact 🙂

54321 Totally awesome and thoroughly enjoyed!! We were hanging to see a big ray and a few sharks which unfortunately we didn’t but we will be back to try again with our kids next time. We could only do the day trip as we had a tight schedule but we couldn’t have asked for more. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lagoon shut a little early due to the low tide but we fully understand this is totally out of everyone’s control. We will certainly be recommending the trip to all our mates. Cheers for a tops day!

21321 I was really looking forward to this tour as a special part of our trip to Queensland. The plane was a little late taking off, as we had to wait for it ot be refuelled. On arrival, we had an initial orientation, were we were told that due to tide times the lagoon would be closing at 10am…..and we were told this at 9.50am! We managed a quick dip – which was really good. We then went on the glass bottom boat, and I felt very unwell. When we arrived for the snorkel section, I was advised that I would feel better in the water….I did a little, then I had to get back on that boat. I couldn’t eat the lunch, we went on a reef walk, and by that time I was feeling better, and there was no lunch to be had. Though the staff were friendly, I was disappointed that the day trippers weren’t better cared for – we were just revenue raising. As a suggestion, if you know the tide is going out, how about starting the trip an hour earlier, and finishing an hour earlier, to give visitors a chance to do all of the options? And in future, if your passengers are seasick (I didn’t know I would be), please have an action plan to care for them. Good to see a coral island, but very disappointing service overall.

54321 It was one of the best day-trips of our holiday! We arrived by plane it it was pretty awesome to see the island from above. We started snorkeling in the lagoon and after that we did a free snorkeling/glassbottom Boat trip. We even forgot our snorkeling mask and Fins back home and got some for free hire at the island. The crew was increadlibly friendly. We had a great lunch buffet afterwards. The food was really really good (for vegetarians and meat lovers). After that we snorkeled around the coral gardens and it was the most beautiful Reef experience we have ever had. We saw turtles and sharks and so much other big fishes we have never seen before at a Reef spot. The island itself is not big which is good so that you can easily walk everywhere. And there are not so many tourists so it isn’t crowded at all. On top my boyfriend was allowed to sit in the cockpit with the captain of the plane for the flight back to Bundaberg. We highly recommend this day trip!

43211 snorkelling was good timed the tides well. Wrong time of year to see rays , turtles or whales etc. But there was plenty of local colourful fish.

54321 The whole experience was amazing! The flight, and all of the staff were wonderful. Snorkeling on the reef we saw a variety of wildlife including turtles, small sharks, eagle rays, and lots of colorful fish. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore a taste of the Great Barrier Reef

54321 A great day full of interesting activities! It was a bit rough on the water the day I went, but the guides still found a place for us to snorkel after the glass bottom boat tour! There was lots to see and do and the lunch buffet was amazing!
