Michaelmas Cay is a small island located in the Outer Barrier Reef which offers the unique ability to snorkel and dive right off the beach. Michaelmas Cay is also home a world famous bird sanctuary. Marine life often seen in the reefs surrounding include sea turtles, giant trevally, small black tip reef sharks and bat fish as well as hundreds of species of colourful reef fish.
