Famous due to its historic nature, it was the 2nd landing site of Captain Cook.

​Agnes Waters and 1770 are know for their history and loved for the friendly locals. 1770 was the second landing site of Captain James Cook and other crew of the HM Bark Endeavour in May of 1770. The area is popular for tourists due to its quick and easy access to Lady Musgrave Island and its great surfing beaches.
