Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Yacht Race. From there she went on to compete in many of the world’s most famous blue water events including the Sydney to Hobart. She finished racing in 2000 and was converted to charter in 2000, but her racing spirit still remains!
This sailing tour covers around 100 kilometres of the Whitsunday Islands and is achieved in 2 days 2 nights due to the sailing ability of this Maxi Yacht. You can participate in all activities such as snorkelling, bushwalking, visiting Whitehaven Beach and helping to sail a true Maxi. Or you can simply sit back and just take it all in.
