Visit one of the greatest wonders of the natural world. The Great Barrier Reef is a must see for visitors. Its formation began millions of years ago.
As it continues to thrive you can expect to see many forms or coral, fish and other marine life.
Your visit will be based from the Reefworld Pontoon where you can choose from a range of included activities such as taking a ride in a semi submersible submarine or snorkel with fish such as the giant grouper with gear the provided. 3:00pm the day guest will depart and you will be left with up to 12 other guests and a few friendly crew members.
This is when you will experience the tranquility of the calm blue waters surrounding you. As the sun starts to sink over the horizon make sure you have your camera ready for one of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see.
Once night falls you will be served a delicious dinner. The menu now consists of a choice of 5 delicious main menu options for you to select from (prior to travel), including such mouth watering meals as tender Eye fillet steak, slow braised lamb shank or an aromatic Thai fish curry, along with all new antipasto platters to enjoy as the sun sets over the Great Barrier Reef. As you are so far away from the shore and man-made lights the stars will appear bright then you have ever seen, you can choose to gaze at them through the telescope on-board on from one of the star-loungers.
Your accommodation for the night is a swag rolled out under the stars. Come morning you will be served a delicious breakfast and the platform which you’ll have to yourself until the day guests arrive at 11am.
You then have the day to continue exploring the platform and Hardy Reef before returning to The Whitsundays on the 3:00pm vessel. *Please Note - a medical declaration form must be completed to join this tour due to the pontoons remote location and limited accessibility*
