54321 What an amazing day! The crew were absolutely fantastic; so knowledgable, friendly and fun and clearly have a real passion for what they do. The food was excellent. The snorkelling was the best I’ve ever experienced. Even managed to get up close with turtles! Cant recommend this tour enough.

Petar Mills — 3 January, 2020

54321 We did the one day Lady Musgrave Island Reef experience from Bundaberg on Sunday 15th Sept 2019. We are from Tamworth NSW. We were visiting Bundy for the arrival of our newest grandson and family. It also was our wedding anniversary. We upgraded our booking to be VIP’s for the day. From beginning to end, was seamless and all the staff were pleasant and helpful with lots of knowledge to share. The weather was fantastic. Following the online guidelines we took travacalm tablets the night before and the morning before. We had such an amazing day, whale sighting 15 mins into the trip. As VIP customers we had the whole top lounge deck to ourselves. Morning tea scones and fruit platter just for us. More whale sightings, folding sightings not far from the boat, then to the reef. Lady Musgrave Island tour with Natalie very informative. Glass bottom boat with Phill. His extensive local knowledge and a rare sighting of turtles mating. Back for buffet lunch nicely presented. Cold meats, prawns and a variety of salads with fresh bread rolls. We could go wherever we wanted. We went back to the upstairs lounge deck. Had a private safety explanation from Cameron our Captain for the Reef experience after lunch. Plenty of time on the reef snorkeling. ( All gear is provided, but we had our own goggles and flippers) Wet suits were included for us. Looked after by AshleighWonderful expperience Leila available swimming out on the reef also for help and knowledge of the reef and fish species. Came back aboard. Went to pick up Tracy and Phill. Tracy is the onboard photographer, swimming amongst a group of Manta Rays. Captain Cameron took the vessel over so everyone could see this phanominal event. What an amazing Day. VIP cheese platter and a couple of glasses of bubbly! What more can I say! WOW! Thank you to all the staff on that day. It was great to be spoilt and have a Captain and crew that take the time to show you as many wonderful live reef experiences and creatures. For an extra $85 each the upgrade wad well worth it. Regards Ray and Marita Borg. See you again next time.
Ray and Marita Borg — 17 September, 2019

54321 Great staff especially Danny. Captain was fantastic trying to get close to whale sightings. Much appreciated.

54321 What an incredible experience!!! We took our 3 boys (2, 4 and 6 years old) and they loved it! Unfortunately went on the only day of rain this year but it certainly did not dampen our spirits. The island is stunning. The snorkelling is out of this world and the crew on the whole experience were exceptional! They looked after us so well with great food, comedy, light hearted fun throughout the day and also so really awesome information about the island and reef and what we can do to help conserve it all. We could not recommend this experience highly enough! We would also recommend taking some sea-sickness pills. Two of our boys (and about 90% of the boat!) were throwing up on the way out as it was pretty choppy for 2 hours. The ride home was fine but the way out was tricky! Thank you to all the crew for an unforgettable, amazing experience!!!
Bene Medhurst — 8 August, 2019

54321 It was an absolutely wonderful trip! We went scuba diving for the first time and we had a fantastic instructor! Excellent experience I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Trish — 30 July, 2019

54321 Great experience. Lots of fun and interesting activities for one day trip. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and had a good sense of humour. The scuba dive in the lagoon was relaxing with good visibility of stunning and diverse corals. Loved the fresh, vibrant salads and prawns I chose for lunch – great flavour combos sourced locally. Beautiful and unique representative of the Great Barrier Reef from the southern end. Keep up the good work.
Michal — 14 July, 2019

54321 11/07/2020 The experience was fantastic! The crew on board were amazing and very helpful in all aspects. My 5 year old went snorkeling with Natalie and loved it! To learn about the Island and get the guided tour was great and the glass bottom boat was excellent too. Jack will talk about Danni for a long time after this adventure as he made it so much fun for the kids interacting with them all the time. Again thanks for a great experience. Cheers
Leona Stubbin — 13 July, 2019

54321 Excellent. Bit of a swell going out, the crew were very caring and looked after those who were ‘discomforted’ including my grand-daughter and me! The Island tour was informative and interesting ( thanks Rhiannon!) and the glass bottomed boat was a good way of seeing some interesting marine life. The crew were really helpful, understanding and made you feel really safe- my 8yr old granddaughter went ‘snorkeling’ on her own with expert crew supervision- big thing to do 3 hours from shore! Thanks Johnnie! The food was plentiful and varied, the other tourists on board were lively too ???? A great day- wonderful experience, good value for money ????
Anne Pilkington — 10 July, 2019

54321 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The greatest strength of this organization is its incredible staff all of whom are professional, friendly and well-informed. The amenities on the boat are great. The organization clearly cares about protecting the reef and minimizing impacts. The short hike on the coral island led by Georgina was informative, fascinating and beautiful. The HIGHLIGHT for me was the introductory scuba diving class. I’d snorkelled before, but not dived. For only an additional $110, it seemed like a good opportunity. It turns out to be one of the best “new” experience I’ve had in my 50 years of this planet. (And I’ve been fortunate to travel to many amazing places and work with great people.) Again, the difference was made by the staff. Natalie, who is a trained marine biologist and master reef guide with exceptional communication and relational skills, was able to not only teach the basics of diving so that it seemed easy to a complete newbie, but also pass on her enthusiasm for the reef and all the amazing life that inhabits it. Rarely in a tourism environment have I come across someone so authentic, patient and generous of spirit. Also, an unexpected benefit was receiving the best marine biology class ever, at 6 metres under water! Overall, a special and memorable experience which I would recommend to anyone. And did I mention that the day trip includes a light snack in the morning and a very delicious and ample lunch was served after arriving? For the price, it’s one of the best deals out there. I hope to return from Canada in the near future to experience this again!
Trefor Smith — 6 May, 2019

54321 Great trip to Musgrave Island, very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the dives and hope to come back for camping : )
Miguel — 25 April, 2019

54321 We had a wonderful day. The crew certainly knew what they were doing and worked like a well oiled machine. Like jigsaw puzzle it all fitted together. Thanks to Danny for the Glass Bottom Boat and Georgie for her walk on the island. All of the crew are an asset to your company.
Pat & Roy Pembroke — 11 March, 2019

54321 Had a wonderful time. All the staff were great. Kudos to Tyler that took the extra time to tell me more about your dives. Loved the entire day. Thank you very much and I will reconnect be back with my husband.
Jerra Orr — 5 February, 2019

43211 Fantastic day trip. Only criticism was the rough seas on the way there (which cannot be helped) but staff were proactive and helped those suffering. Shame we couldn’t have spent longer there
Will Faulds — 4 February, 2019

43211 The boat was in excellent condition with very willing and able crew. The food was tasty and plentiful. The itinerary was well presented and it appeared to had quite a lot of preparation. Natalie was our guide on the land based activity and was a very friendly and knowledgeable young lady. Our snorkel on the reef was my highlight with many beautiful fish to be seen Thanks Danny. Safety was paramount and always felt comfortable during the entire day. Highly recommended
Ross — 21 January, 2019

54321 I took the family out to the Great Barrier Reef today with the Lady Musgrave experience cruise. It was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were excellent especially when it came time to snorkel. My husband isn’t the strongest of swimmers so they provided him with a flotation vest. I need to make special mention of one particular crew member- Tyler was his name. He took us around the reef naming all of the fish life and really looked after the younger kids who weren’t confident swimmers. We were even able to swim with a turtle and a reef shark. Well worth the cost and a must for families.
Peter Hamilton — 18 January, 2019

54321 I took my wife and family out yesterday their first time out in a boat in the ocean proper, their first time out to see the GBR. I cant say enough how much care all the staff/crew showed not only to my family but seeing how they cared for everyone about , truly outstanding customer service and care that ive seen ,fantastic trip 5 thumbs up
paul theuil — 16 January, 2019

43211 My husband and I had an awesome day yesterday. Even though the ocean was rather rough. All of the Crew where happy and helpful. Sharing knowledge. Multi cultural staffing was excellent to cater for our tourists. Food was awesome. Fantastic experience swimming with the turtles. Glass bottom boat and island walk were great too, lots of laughs. We had and awesome day, thankyou.
Denise Kretschmann — 15 January, 2019

21321 It has been a good experience. Although on our way to the reef due to heavy motion sickness we felt terrible and helpless. I felt your team should have guided us regarding taking tablets or staying around open space and that sort of guidance would have made our journey much more enjoyable. As we arrived at the boat we could not find any empty seats and that was the first shock. As I come from hospitality and food background I found the food was unsatisfactory and presentation was not appealing. As you seem to be catering international visitors more colourful menus can be added.
Touhid Chawdhury — 11 January, 2019

43211 A great day out made very special by the amazing staff. They were attentive, caring and seemed to genuinely love sharing their knowledge and chatting to the passengers. Were also very helpful to those passengers who were sea sick. Found them to be very flexible with itinerary – we wanted to snorkel both morning and afternoon, and this wasn’t a problem at all. Long boat ride there and back was worth it for snorkeling on a beautiful reef with friendly fish and turtles.
LEANNE TUXFORD — 8 January, 2019

54321 Friendly and attentive staff who were knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Felt cared for while battling nausea on the way over. Staff kept our spirits up despite sea sickness and rainy weather. Enjoyed the walk around Lady Musgrave Island and the glass bottom boat trip. Lunch was fresh and healthy. Really appreciated the willing and encouraging assistance of staff to support my kids in the water for their first snorkelling experience. It was so beautiful to snorkel around with the fish and turtles! The friendliness, helpfulness and flexibility of the staff made our Lady Musgrave experience a great day. We have some great memories. Thank you
Renée — 16 December, 2018

21321 They combined both groups on to one boat making for slow boarding and crowding. A rough ride out with the deck covered in passenger vomiting into bags supplied. We were allocated to snorkel first at the peak of high tide and boat tour last leaving no time to snorkel at low tide where it was good visibility before being hearded back on the boat to return to Bundaberg. Food was mediocre at best but many felt to sick to eat anyway. My advice is fly out to Lady Elliot it is well worth the extra money.
Alice McNab — 12 December, 2018

21321 The staff were very nice but they should be more flexible with conditions Best to arrive snorkel then eat not eat before snorkeling, unsafe and foolish. In rough conditions offer more time in the glass bottom boat Or allow people to start from The shore Not a well thought out trip for tourists
Georgina MacDougall — 11 November, 2018

54321 What a wonderful way to our 1st wedding anniversary. Everything was so easy to book We had a fantastic day. Thee staff were just awesome! Couldn’t do enough for us. Very informative we learnt a lot about our own back yard ! Food was delicious Can’t wait yo do it again ! A BIG thank you to all the staff on board today Awesome job
Steve leifels — 27 October, 2018

54321 What a wonderful trip. I think the real point of difference that this for offers is the service. The crew were attentive, informative, warmly welcomingand FUNNEEEE! We laughed on the the transfer to the boat, laughed on the boat, during the tour, on the glass bottomed boat and on the way home. It is obvious the crew love their jobs. In fact the only time I was not laughing was whilst scuba diving and that was because I was in awe, and whilst sitting on the deck watching the glittering sea go by, at that point I was peacefully mesmerised. It is a beautiful day out. I recommend it highly.
Ruth A Blakely — 17 October, 2018

54321 What a fantastic day. Where do you start. The boat was large and comfortable and the ride to and from the island was very smooth. The food supplied throughout the day was great. The crew were fantastic and friendly. I chose to dive all day and it was great. My friend however went to the island walk and glass bottom boat and had a ball. Saw whales and dolphins on the way home which just added to the experience. Could not recommend this company enough
Bob Withey — 15 October, 2018

54321 The cruise was one of the most magnificent experiences l have ever had in my life. Perfect day, perfect weather, great food, and comfy boat was just the start. Snorkelling the reef, watching turtles getting manicured by fish and seeing a pod of whales on the return trip, so close we could hear their slaps, squires and snorts….. Was unforgettable. This a bucket list not to be missed trip!
WENDY HIGGINS — 11 October, 2018

54321 An absolutely wonderful experience of the Great Barrier Reef! Boat, modern & comfortable, all staff friendly & considerate, the destination, magnificent! We chose to snorkell for the whole time & not visit the island. Highly recommend ????????
Donna & Bluey — 8 October, 2018

Chris Lunn — 6 October, 2018

21321 We were so looking forward to the day only to be sorely disappointed. We had no idea that we would only get to spend 45 minutes checking out the island. We would have loved to spend an afternoon there doing our own thing but the itinerary did not allow for that. Very disappointed after spending so much money
christine Gavan-Chadwick — 28 September, 2018

54321 Absolutely brilliant. Staff were fantastic. The information, island tour, glass bottom boat tour were extremely informative and very relaxing. Having all gear on the boat supplied for snorkelling and diving was such a time saver and helped to create the relaxing atmosphere of the day. I had no idea Lady Musgrave was out there, now I a definitely going back. 🙂
Carey Thomson — 10 September, 2018

54321 Excellent day, particularly Danny who took me for a dive and he is also great fun
Ted todd — 1 August, 2018

54321 Absolutely fabulous experience!! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wesaw whales and dolphins on our way out to the island. The island and glass bottom boat tours we’re both informative and interesting. Plenty of food provided and the snorkeling was fantastic! I hadn’t snorkled in over 20 years and these folks took the time to help me get comfortable in the water. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!!!!
Heather Sheehan — 18 July, 2018

54321 Wonderful day trip. Very good staff, great food, beautiful snorkeling. Bonus close-up with a whale on the way home. Thank you to the skipper for stopping to allow us to have a unique experience with that. Judy, June 2018
Judy Bonomelli — 13 June, 2018

43211 Our family tour with Lady Musgrave Island Reef Experience was exciting. My girls enjoyed sitting on the deck and also snorkelling tour. The team on board is superb! The only reason I was unable to give a 5? is because my dive at the Barrier Reef was very ordinary. Maybe it was the dive site and also the instructor was not very friendly. Hopefully you can look into that part seriously. Overall Tina was very interactive on the island and Jive was very helpful. Good going guys.
Anuj Shah — 7 March, 2018

54321 ‘My family and I had an awesome Lady Musgrave cruise adventure (Jan 4 2018). The whole experience from start to end was extremely well organised and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We loved the snorkeling and glass bottom boat tour. Visibility was incredible and we felt safe and confident whilst snorkeling a good distance away from the vessel. Thank you for a memorable experience and day that we would and have highly recommended to others.
Carmen Hassan — 16 January, 2018

54321 Amazing. Lady Musgrave was a fabulous experience both the snorkelling and visiting the isalnd. Would definitely do it again. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Very well organised. plenty of good food and tea. BEWARE that the trip envolves a 2h boat crossing to get to the island, It is an ocean crossing so moves around a bit. Many people were seasick so take motion sickness pills if you are prone to seasickness or this will spoil the trip for you.
SOPHIE CREUSOT — 7 January, 2018

54321 Absolutely AMAZING, all of the staff were extremely kind and helpful, we will definetly be back for another trip kids and parents had the best time, and a huge thab4k you to all the staff for being so accommodating 🙂
Kristie Shields — 6 January, 2018

43211 Friendly and helpful staff. The overall experience was great. Food options could have been better, considering we were group of 12 vegetarians and we had advised so at three time of booking. The aircon didn’t seem to work well on the lower deck. Oon three way to reef Some of us felt it was suffocating. Going to upper deck front helped. We felt we didn’t get enough time for snorkelling . It would have been better if we were informed beforehand exactly how long we’ll get for snorkelling that would have helped us make a decision not to goo for island walk.
Hiral — 2 January, 2018

54321 Wonderful Great Barrier Reef experience just 4 hours away from Brisbane. We will definitely repeat!
Eduardo — 29 December, 2017

54321 One of the best experiences of my life. Snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef with the Lady Musgrave Experience team was breathtaking. I’m not a confident swimmer and they made sure I felt at ease in the water, with so many staff to look out for everyone and coach you, it’s something anyone can do. As a result, I got to see spectacular coral reefs, tropical fish and swim with turtles. They know exactly where to take you. The team is also lovely and service fantastic. They put on a full cold buffet, which was an unexpected delight. Only recommendation would be to put on a BBQ. I highly recommend doing this tour to anyone who is even thinking about it. Worth your whole and an easy tick off the bucket list.
Bernadette David — 28 December, 2017

54321 Fantastic day out diving the outter wall on double dive trips. Amazing crew and luxury styled 35 meter triple deck cat for travelling out to Lady Musgrave island. We have done 18 trip aboard the main event and it is always brilliant.
Steven Clarke — 22 December, 2017

54321 We absolutely loved our day trip to Lady Musgrave Island! The staff made the trip really enjoyable and took time to chat to us and give us information and suggestions. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!
Rachel Collins — 20 December, 2017

54321 Brilliant Day out and well worth the money. The island was remote & beautiful, the glass boat tour was brilliant & unique and snorkelling was really fun. The talks were fascinating, the staff really knew they’re stuff and took us around to see turtles/baby sharks. Whilst snorkelling and during the boat ride they could not have been more attentive, especially to those who felt sea sick. Cannot recommend enough (but take some travel sickness taets with you!)
Bethany — 29 November, 2017

54321 Amazing day! We snorkelled with so many turtles and the sea life on the reef was insane. Lady musgrave is a stunning island. This is a must do – well worth the sea sickness!
Ella — 23 April, 2017

David Jeanes — 30 January, 2017

54321 I had an amazing day. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Excellent morning tea and lunch
Ana Carolina de M Lemos — 1 January, 2017

43211 Excellent tour service and breathtaking reef. $$ compared to Mexican Caribe Cancun where we live BUT totally glad we did it. Only suggestion would be to have reasonably priced transfers included for non car pax. Thx and love Australia!!
Karon Schmoker — 27 November, 2016

43211 An amazing day that was worth the price. The staff was friendly and we chanced upon perfect weather and sea conditions. Other guests appeared equally pleased.
Mark Kandal — 4 October, 2016
