Depart from Townsville early in the morning and ride to the Yongala Wreck Site. The S.S Yongala sank in 1911 during a cyclone and is now almost 30 meters below the sea surface. Today, the wreck is a magnificent, awe-inspiring sight and is home to a wide variety of fish, molluscs and other marine animals.
After suiting up in the provided gear, dive into the beckoning water and swim to the wreck. Once you arrive, look for the remains of the engine room, anchor, dining room and funnel opening. On the dive, you'll also get up close to clown fish, eagle and manta rays, giant trevally, turtles and even whales.
Enjoy a delectable tropical lunch and then return to the wreck for a second dive, enjoy the afternoon tea and then head back to Townsville
