​​Grown over the last 170 million years the Daintree is the worlds oldest surviving rainforest and Australia’s largest continual rainforest. The Daintree is home to 3% of all frogs, reptile and marsupial species in Australia, as well as 90% of the bat and butterfly species and 7% of all bird species.
