A chance to visit Lady Musgrave Island and swim with the turtles!

This tour takes you to the most amazing gift of nature in the worlds largest reef. Take delight of the world’s most exotic wildlife experience as we take you to The Great Barrier Reef and a possibility to see one the world’s largest, intelligent, aquatic mammals – the mighty HUMPBACK WHALE.
Perceive and encounter migrating birds, turtles and coral, in a place that many would call “Nirvana.” Snorkelling and diving are what this place is famous for, as we encounter colours and beauty unsurpassed anywhere in the world. You can even go for a swim with the turtles as they wait patiently at a cleaning station for the little fish to clean their bodies. The Southern Great Barrier Reef is known for its Stinger Free environment – allowing us to swim without worry all year.

Seasonal Animal Encounters:

Turtles may be seen year-round at Lady Musgrave Island
November to March a Live Turtle Encounter is offered where you can see the turtles crawl onto the beach to lay their eggs or watch the hatchlings make their journey to the sea.
April to October you can participate in an informative turtle experience at the Mon Repos Turtle Conservation Centre. The display is interactive and educational.
June to November humpback whales may be seen.

21321 We had a very bad experience. The company that adventure free tour used in the tour 3 days and 2 nights lady musgrave island was “SUNSENT SAFARIS” the bus was late in our pick up in cooroy train station and they dont call us to inform that and we have to call to ask what happend. The bus was VERY small for the quantity of people that we were (18 in total) it did not space to suitcases then seats were used for suitcases. The bus was VERY old with an aircon VERY poor. The space in the bus was VERY small and some people were travelling from brisbane (such a mess travelling 4 HOURS in a bus with the aforementioned features speacially with the temperature inside because the aircon was a shit). The performance of the tour guide was terrible (Trevor) , he said that he was doing a reempleacement for 3 weeks, I dont know if the guide tour that was off was better than him or not but defenitely Trevor was not a good guide tour. He did not explain properly the activities that we were going to do then the majority of the tourist were very lost and we needed to ask for the information, otherwise he did not explain or he only provide a very brief explanation. The acommodation in Kelly Resort was not good, rooms were VERY hot inside and the aircon was not enough, the breakfast was VERY BAD, they only offered tea, coffe and juice, jam with tosties, cereal with yougurth and fruit in cubes that was old, they did not offer cheese or ham that is a typical continental breakfast offered in accomodations. The positive side was our visit to MonRepos, although, Trevor did not manage the times properly in that pleace and we had to be there from 8 pm to 11pm seeing 2 tourtules puting their eggs when only with 1 tourtle was enough because next day we had to start the trip to lady musgrave island at 6am, then definetly Trevor needs to improve the manage of times in each place that we visit. Lady Musgrave Island was a very good experience the boat was comfortable and the crew very friendly, the trip took 2.5 hours, then if people have problem with dizzyness this is not a tour for them (many people vomited in the boat). Thinking in the cost of the tour and the quality speacelly the poor quality of the bus used for a vey long trinp I WOULD NOT recommend this tour at all. We have the tour per 1 day in Fraser island tomorrow and we expect a better experience with the agency that adventure free tour use in that tour. I will tell about my experience in fraser island in 2 days.

54321 It was the most amazing adventure I have ever had. From the moment we were picked up to the end of the tour, the days unfurled with unique and exhilarating experiences at every turn. I met some wonderful people with whom I will remain in contact and the memories will last forever. I would certainly recommend this tour and intend to book a similar experience on my return to Australia. It was fun, professionally organised, other participants gelled immediately and the whole experience would be difficult to surpass. I was enchanted with this tour.
