Solway Lass, the Whitsunday’s magnificent Tall Ship was built in Holland in 1902. Solway Lass is beautifully maintained and provides leisurely paced fun sailing tours of the Whitsunday Islands. This Tall Ship experience will make you feel a bit like Pirates of the Caribbean, it even has a Tarzan style rope swing, a unique way to enter the water, relax out in the bow net or enjoy icy cold beer, cocktail or wine from the licenced bar.
Guests can get involved and help pull up the massive sail, have a turn on the helm, or just relax on the large decks. Tours of the Whitsunday Islands offer time to explore the islands, including time to relax at the magnificent Whitehaven Beach, walk to Hill Inlet Lookout and experience snorkelling stops on the fringing coral reefs which extend right from the edge of the Islands. The Captain and crew will provide interpretive information on the Whitsunday Islands and the Marine Park. New to Solway Lass are stand up paddle boards for guests to use.
